Lavender- Can be a bit tricky to grow, but it can thrive in the right conditions. It likes it hot, sunny, and dry. mix a bit of sand in the soil when planting and fertilize with lime (lavender HATES acidity!) It can get woody after a few years if not pruned regularly in the fall. Prune almost to the ground to ensure fullness next year
